We had never been to Hunterdon Cty and were definitely at a disadvantage as we started out. Adding Patricia to our process was a gamechanger—kinda like getting automatic homefield advantage. Patricia will make you smarter, more successful, ultimately happier with your process of finding a home. We left Maplewood (commuting village, on the grid, wired into NYC), and moved west to find some land and our dream home. And Patricia made it work for us.
Things were disorienting, there were a lot of factors to think through about a move-- beyond the house itself-- being off the grid, redefining the commute and family time; what about schools; how do you deal with water wells and managing your own water quality. All of the utilities were foreign to us; switching from natural gas to propane and heating oil; understanding radon... All of these things, not specifically germane to buying the House, but part of living w the House-- the operating mechanics of actually living in a home in Hunterdon Cty... Patricia helps alleviate all of these things naturally because she’s helped dozens of people go through the exact same thing. Patty is VERY good at process, enough that it slips into the background such that things are just getting done so you can concentrate on the Home and the Experience-- figuring out Life, and NOT getting bogged down by the Real Estate process... Patricia has a network of vendors and contractors who are bang-on professional as well-- she doesn't have all the answers (who does?), but can facilitate getting them, and that's the power you want in your Search. We're all so busy that we don't need another person to manage. Being our first time buying, with our busy work schedule and an infant in tow we wanted someone who was knowledgeable, flexible and made the home buying process ‘fun’. Her market knowledge, inventory, negotiation and transaction management skills are very good. She carefully listened to our wish list and carved a good selection of properties which met our criteria. Our interactions were ‘no pressure’ and she answered a range of our questions. She shared her deep insights and presented the comps and her views to help us shortlist the right properties.

Tommy was a pleasure to work with while selling our home. His enthusiasm, motivation and knowledge about the area and the market convinced us to re-list with him after our first attempt at selling with a different agent had failed. We had a unique style home which required a more specific type of buyer and Tommy was willing to listen to our ideas while offering his own to come up with the best approach to re-list our home. He provided us with a full market analysis of our home in a hard-covered book and came up with a reasonable listing price we all agreed on and not just some low-ball price so he could get a quick sale. He encouraged us to hold open houses and he personally held them when other agents were not willing to do so. He also personally screened all the private viewings when other agents were suggesting we do it ourselves using a free app on our phone. He was always available to take our calls and promptly return with answers to questions or concerns we had. Tommy went above and beyond and offered to watch our home while we were away for a few months, watering the plants and cleaning the debris out of our driveway several times. We were first time buyers, and have been looking for last 2 years. We had switched several agents in the process as well. We were looking in all over NJ. We met Jeanne, and she was an angel from the beginning.
She was always prepared with print outs of what we were going to see, in which order. I still remember I had a flight to London on Sunday evening, and had only couple of hours to look at shorthills properties. In shorthills, properties don't wait for a week for me to come back. She made a list, and we looked at 5 properties in less than 2 hours, and we never felt rushed. That was just one example. We have known her for over a year now, and I can say my whole family likes Jeanne. Our 3 yr old son was very fond of her as well.
